好莱坞是从来不缺少怪人（weirdo）和鬼才（wizard）的。

约翰尼·德普亦是其中一份子。这家伙是《剪刀手爱德华》（Edward Scissorhands）里深情款款的机器人爱德华，是《加勒比海盗》（Pirates of the Caribbean）里神经质的船长杰克，是《浓情巧克力》（Chocolate）中的吉普赛浪子洛克斯。角色的多变依然无法抹去他那个已经根深蒂固的模样：月光一样惨白的皮肤（pale skin），黑色眼线，外加一抹烟熏（smoky eyes）。撩人又妖娆。今日，就让他来重新定义一下男神：男神，才不是那些肤若凝脂，娘气过剩的小鲜肉，而是去弹琴，去摇滚，去画画，去文艺，去创作，去搞怪的多栖奇才，如约翰尼·德普。

我猜想，德普原本应该是打算从老家的村子里搞一个车库乐队（garage band）起家，一路高歌猛进，最终在摇滚乐界登顶称霸的。

约翰尼·德普出生在美国肯塔基州，幼年时历经家庭的搬迁，动荡和父母的离异，像是给了年轻的德普沉溺于酒精和药品一个可以推脱的借口：每一个家庭不安稳的孩子大抵都会是这样的吧。16岁的德普在高中辍学两个礼拜后试图返回学校，尴尬的是，他又被校长劝说离开学校去追寻自己的音乐梦。辗转了多个乐队之后，德普还是在时任妻子的建议下，开始尝试前途犹未可知的表演路。

Johnny Depp, born in Kentucky on June 9th 1963 has followed a bizarre road, consequently landing him as one of today's top Hollywood actors.  Born John Christopher Depp II, young Depp was originally interested in pursuing a music career. Following a move to Florida, and his parents divorced by age 16, Depp strayed from his peers and siblings and lived a life full of drugs and alcohol.  Teenage Depp dropped out of school to pursue a career in rock and roll music. Over the next few years, Depp fronted numerous garage bands - the most famous entitled The Kids, opened for Iggy Pop.  Perhaps more importantly, the success of The Kids furnished Depp with a rising sense of popularity and accomplishment - ironically shot down by Iggy Pop himself during a back-stage confrontation.

Determination and hope for stardom inspired the band to relocate to Los Angeles. Depp married by age 20 to Lori Allison, the band's make-up artist. As his band struggled among the competitive West-coast market, Depp (under suggestion from his wife) decided to try acting.

比起在电影中各种怪诞角色之间的游曳自如，现实中的约翰尼·德普并不擅长与人沟通，面对采访镜头他偶尔会显得拘禁，甚至是词穷。而画画这件事，一件不需要和人张嘴说话的事，恰好填补了德普生活中的几点空白。

拾起画笔是在他陪小女儿Lily Rose画画时，偶然发掘了自己在绘画领域的潜在天赋。

他的作品灵感大多是源于友人，朋友或家人。他喜欢画人物的脸和眼睛。德普认为通过那些面部的表情，你可以看到人们眼神背后到底在诉说着什么样的故事。“What I love to do is paint people’s faces, their eyes. Because you want to find the emotion, see what’s going on behind their eyes.”

2011年美国著名脱口秀主持人拉里·金（Larry King）在参观约翰尼·德普的办公室时，德普特意像他展示了他为挚友马龙·白兰度(Marlon Brando) 创作的画像。拉里·金将这幅画形容为“或许是我见过的最有意思的东西之一。”

In 2012, when Larry King paid a visit to Jonny Depp’s personal office, Depp showed King his self-made portrait of the legendary Marion Brando.

2. Winona Ryder

1990年，约翰尼·德普与演员薇诺娜·赖德（Winona Ryder)订婚。他们是多么养眼的一对啊！一样干净的容颜，一样清澈的眼睛，纹身狂热分子德普在自己的右臂上纹Winona Forever(永远的薇诺娜)。然而世事难料，几年后二人解除婚约，纹身也只能修改一下，变成了Wino Forever(永远的酒精)。

It was during this time of stressful success that Depp began to relapse. Again, an unhappy Depp began using drugs and alcohol to escape from reality. Stuck in the depths of disillusion, troubled Depp started an on-off relationship with supermodel Kate Moss; almost simultaneously being arrested twice for both trashing his NY hotel room and fighting a member of the paparazzi. Although his life was in and out of shambles, on screen Depp continued to establish himself as an incredible actor.

4. Vanessa Paradis

Depp has been dating actress and model Amber Heard since 2012 after the pair met on the set of the film The Rum Diary. The couple became engaged on Christmas Eve in 2013 and eventually tied the knot in early 2015
